Description

Leon grew up in the Natal Midlands and was fortunate to have a father who loved fishing. His first encounter with trout and fly was at age 10, on a dam in the Kamberg Valley. Not knowing how to cast they trawled around the dam pulling Mrs Simpsons on sinking lines. There was great excitement when a few fish were caught.
The years rolled by until a friend suggested they do some trout fishing - on fly of course! A rod and reel was purchased as well as a floating line and a few flies...and as they say: the rest is history.
Leon has since fly fished extensively for fresh and salt water species - from trout and yellowfish in delicate small streams, to ferocious tigers on the great Cahora Bassa, to the Ghosts of the Flats and GT's in the Seychelles, and down and dirty offshore.
His passion, however, is still the Wild Browns of the Mooi and Bushman Rivers and this is the fishing he would like to share with you...
