Our mission- To live in harmony with our environment and enrich the lives of the people and communities with whom we are involved, thereby creating our own brand of development that leaves an indelible stamp on the field of eco-tourism and in so doing enriches our own lives.
With this as our mission we started what was to become the Ufudu flyfishing experience in South Africa.  This consisted of setting up a fully self contained temporary camp at two exclusive destinations on our coast.  The venues, Kosi Bay on the Maputoland coast and Mtentu estuary on the Pondoland Wild Coast was where for three months at each venue we would host up to six guests to flyfish on a strictly catch and release basis.
The initial intention was to do this for five years and then review our plans for the future.  From small beginnings and a huge learning curve the venture was a great success in that by the year 2006 we could honestly reflect and say that we had achieved what we had set out to do in our mission statement.

Directions

Directions to the Home of Ufudu : • Do not take the Toll road but stay on the old freeway (M13) up Fields Hill; • Take the Everton/Gillitts turnoff; • Cross over the freeway to the right; • Take the first right into Igwababa Road (also the same turnoff for the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve); • Continue straight down this road, over speed bumps, to a three way stop street which you cross straight over; • When you get to the T-junction at the bottom of Igwababa Road, you will be facing onto Kloof Falls Road; • Directly in front of you is a traffic turning circle and our property is right in front of that; • The entrance has stone pillars, a big gate and palisade fencing; • You will see a development called Hyde Park next door; • The telephone number is 031 764 5356 so please call if you get lost; • If you know Kloof, we are about one kilometre from St Agnes (stone) church down Kloof Falls Road right;opposite the traffic circle and next door to Hyde Park.
