The tents are placed on elevated wooden deck and covered with thatched roof. There are 2 beds in each chalet and en suite bathroom (hot shower). In connection with the four chalets there is a basic kitchen and an open air dining loung under thatched roof; beautiful view over the zambezi River downstream. A small distance from the main lodge we have a camp site with a joint ablution block (indoor as well as outdoor hot showers). About 35 km from Sioma River Camp we operate a bush camp with six dome safri tents under a grass covered structure. Basic kitchen and ablution facilities. DirectionsSioma River Camp is located 12 km. south of the Sioma (Ngonye) Falls – midway between Sesheke and Senanga in Western Province - 315 km. from Livingstone (Victoria Falls) and 113 km. from Katimo Mulilo, the borderpost between Zambia and Namibia. From Livingstone the drive will take 4-5 hours (the road to Sesheke – first 200 km. - is tarred, but the last 115 km. from the border the road is gravel/sand).
Sioma Camps are accessible by road all year round (in a 4x4 with good ground clearance). There is an airstrip a few km. away from Sioma River Camp, so transfer by air from Livingstone – or elsewhere in Zambia - is an option.
