The Farmhouse is situated on the very lip of the African Escarpment on the summit of the Skurweberg in the Mpumalanga Drakensburg. This is a luxury very cute fully equipped and serviced lodge sleeping 6 adults in 3 double en suit bedrooms and 4 children in 2 bunk beds in complete privacy. The comprehensively equipped kitchen has a gas stove and microwave and comes with coffee, tea, and fresh farm milk a good collection of spices and condiments. We also offer a buying service and our ladies are happy to cook and prepare your meals. The house and the views it commands, has been renovated and expanded into the present dwelling, with an open plan Kitchen, dinning and sitting area with a cozy fireplace. Satellite TV and video, and a comprehensive library complete this country retreat This old stone house was originally built in the 1850 s as a rest place for the wagon trails on rout to the goldfields of Barberton, before they attempted the hazardous Hells Kloof Pass .
