Highmoor offers high altitude trout fishing at its best

Highmoor is a KZN parks board nature reserve situated in the central drakensberg. You can either fish an assortment of trout fishing dams or trout fishing rivers in the area. Highmoor is one ofmany KZN parks board venues where one can fly fish for trout. The fly fishing at highmoor is exclusively for rainbow and brown trout. Highmoor also boast some brilliant hikes and macnificent viewsof the drakensberg. Most hikes at Highmoor take about 4-5 hours to complete. Horseriding and guided walks can be organised in advance. The only method of fishing allowed here is fly fishing.
